There is a lot to do in the Lutjebroek area. For instance, you can go swimming in the IJsselmeer about 3km from the campsite. Or you can go shopping in Hoorn, an old trading town by the IJsselmeer, about 12km away. Below is a list of places to go:

Enkhuizen – 5km

Bovenkarspel – 3km

  • The Streekbos with bathing water and a sandy beach and sunbathing area and including: playground, miniature golf, curling, restaurant, a real observatory, walking trail through the forest –
  • Several restaurants (‘de Buren’ and ‘de Woeste Hoogte’)
  • Beach at the IJsselmeer

Streekhof – 2km

This is a large shopping centre where you can do both your daily shopping and more exotic shopping.
